The new host sounds very underexposed, limited in ability to observe things, places, people with any wisdom or perspective that meets an audience’s familiarity or humor. There are times when we want to accompany someone in seeing things anew, or for the first time. This is not one of those; just feels amateurish. Doesn’t carry the spark or wit or flair of previous show’s tone and programming we expect from The Cut, as a brand or a blog.”
