Couldn’t agree more about golf trying and failing to be cool, although my cool (such as it is) was lost listening to Andrew talking through his push out of bounds on the 18th at North Berwick.
As a then scratch golfer (now hanging on to +2 aged 51) I was in contention in the 3rd round of the British Police Championships before putting three on the said car bonnet. As expensive as it was embarrassing..... Thanks for the memories. Not.
Now I’m a Masters student in sport psychology and would love to hear some mental golf chat on the podcast gents. Keep up the inane banter though. It’s good to know the difference between a llama and an alpaca.....
