Relaxed Group, Strong Characters
I’m on episode 6 right now and felt it was time to leave a review. Straight away I was impressed by how relaxed everyone is with each other and their characters. Everything feels like a well-worn glove and provides a lighthearted and relaxed listening experience. This makes sense given this is their third arc together. But that’s not without it’s own issues. As a listener we’re dropping in late in the game, so occasionally references are made that we have no hope of understanding. But stick with it. The cast does a great job of filling in details as needed, so it’s not a major struggle and pans out in the end. The result is an enjoyable show that seems to focus evenly on character development and story advancement. Definitely adding it to my subscription list.

If you enjoy hungry man dinners, long delves into dungeons, sight seeing in otherworldly planes of existence, you’ll probably enjoy this show. If not, you probably aren’t a good person.
