“I’ve really been enjoying this podcast… But then today as he discussed Fourth of July… He mentioned that he went to a Dukes of Hazard museum…. And celebrated Fourth of July the way the guy from Dukes of Hazard did…. From what I recall, that guy had a giant confederate flag on his car…. and while I’m not down with cancel culture… I’m definitely not down with taking advise from someone that’s so out of touch thay he would boast about celebrating Dukes of Hazard style 🥲 Maybe he doesn’t know how insensitive is or maybe he didn’t watch the show when he was younger… So he hasn’t put it all together. I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt… Which is why I gave a second star… my concern though is that the Dukes of Hazard comment as a dog whistle… And I’m not that dog.”
