“I admit that I am a book nerd. But even if you aren’t, The Daily Poem is easily accessible and covers a wide variety of poetry in short, easily digestible bites. The hosts do an excellent job explaining possible interpretations and pointing out key features (rhyme scheme, symbolism, etc.) without the condescending attitude often ascribed (justly or unjustly) to professors, critics, and other dwellers in the ivory towers of academia. I recommend this podcast to everyone and anyone! (It is also family-friendly, so no need to turn it off when kids around. They might even enjoy it too, and they will definitely learn something!)”
