“This podcast is so interesting and wondery does some of the best storytelling— but as a native woman it’s extremely upsetting to hear how often they use the slur “savage.” I’d like to believe they, as a company, would be more aware of the perception of that word as a slur. Hope they discontinue the use of it; although I’m sure these episodes are all already recorded. Otherwise, this podcast is as great as any of their others. Just wish it was easier to listen to without feeling that pang of indigenous invisibility.”
