No nonsense, motivational finance advice
Coming from the UK, I wasn’t sure this would work for me financially or culturally but have become completely hooked. My husband and I suffered some financial misfortune and family tragedy in the last couple of years and just listening to this show for a week has given me more hope than I’ve had in a long time and we’ve already made huge changes to our approach to money. Don’t be turned off that its based in the conservative deep south. This is good old fashioned advice delivered by people with strong family values who want you to succeed and, in Dave’s case, are living proof you can come back from the brink. For UK listeners, where the Every Dollar app isn’t applicable, try Moneyhub. Costs almost nothing a month with a huge free trial period and links all your bank accounts, credit cards, pensions and student loans with a couple of button clicks. Hugely powerful app that punches way above its price tag. Best money we ever spent. Good luck to everybody trying to take control of their family’s future.

Full disclosure, I only listened to part of one session. It’s too bad for me that Dave didn’t disclose in the podcast description that he often refers to the Bible for financial decisions, particularly concerning debt. Religions are great, but I wonder if the Bible is the best source of...Read full review »
