Response to ahhattan
Just read the review from ahhattan who did not approve of Dave’s advice to continue giving 10% to their church while climbing out of debt. The writer attributed Dave’s advice to his religious beliefs to tithe. While Dave freely speaks about his deeply held religious beliefs he recognizes that not everyone else believes as he does. Many times I have heard him advise callers to tithe or contribute 10% to charity in place of tithing. I have taken his advice to mean that no matter how bad a situation, someone else’s situation is worse.
