“This podcast gets a five star review from me because:
The hosts stay on topic - meaning, they talk about fitness, health, weight loss and exercise and the discussion is well organized.
They publish new episodes on a regular basis.
The sound quality is good and the volume levels are stable.
No commercials, and there is bumper music between the different segments. It's a well produced show.
For the record, I think the items listed above are really the only fair way to evaluate a podcast. Disagreeing with the hosts or not liking the content isn't fair grounds to penalize a review.
As long as I have the space to type I have a few additional comments. Frankly I wish the show was a little more down to earth and had more advice for 'normal' people. I don't travel to Colorado for few months of the year and go skiing every day. I can't afford a personal yoga instructor that makes house calls. And I don't have the luxury of working wherever and whenever I want. And frankly, I think eating a piece of your kid's unhealthy birthday cake is just fine. In my opinion you don't need to be perfect 24/7/365 but that's what comes across when I listen. I don't mean to come across as negative, and think that about 80% of the advice given is spot on. I'm healthy and very happy doing just that. It's just that (in my opinion, again) the host's perspectives are a little different that most people's. If you can keep that in mind you'll get a lot out of this.
Thank you for a great show!”
