Description
Sully had always had thoughts of a military career in the back of his mind, and the tragic events of 9/11 led him to find a recruiter and take the fight to the enemy as soon as he could. His mind set on being an operator, Sully signed a SEAL contract and completed the arduous training stages to achieve his spot in the coveted SEAL Team Two. 5 Years and 2 tours of Iraq later, Sully wanted to advance into a Tier 1 role, and began the selection process for The Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) / DEVGRU. Sully completed 7 active tours of Afghanistan and achieved an impressive array of medals and awards, but this wasn't all he collected from his tours. Sully was shot, and also discovered he had a brain tumour in 2015. Recovering from these incidents, led Sully to retire and start a business of his own. Sully is the founder of the Community First Project (www.C1p.org), a 501(C)(3) Non-Profit organisation that provides life-saving training that helps train Police Patrol Officers to handle stress and incidents in a more effective way to make communities safer. C1P has raised over $770'000 and trained over 1000 Police Officers.
