A career following in the family footsteps looked certain for Alfie Moore, but strikes & recession struck the steel industry, and he was faced with making a change to join the police. 20 years on the beat progressing through role & rank, Alfie found stand-up comedy later on in life, and has found success. His BBC Radio 4 show 'It's A Fair Cop' is now into it's 8th season and Alfie is on a nationwide tour with his show 'A Face For Radio'.
