“Normally I’d rate this a 3 to 4 stars — the hosts can be entertaining, though the tone often veers into self-indulgence, but I had to say something about this episode. I’m cisgender, so no expert, but let me give you a script of this comes up again : “I was initially confused by the name of this actress, but then with some digging realized she used to be my stand-in prior to transitioning.” Instead we had to listen to both hosts repeatedly misgender and deadname a trans woman. Honestly, I think both McNeill and Wang owe her an apology.”
