Don’t listen to your hero’s either?
I’m really disappointed in Garret’s comments on the episode about the episode titled ‘11:59’, regarding old slavers like George Washington, and how we should move on and not get stuck in the past. From reconstruction, thru this very day, history is littered with examples of Black people minding their own business, only to end up murdered by people who idealize GW. From Black Wallstreet, to the recent murder spree at that church in South Carolina. Secondly, what type of colonized mind do you have to have to think it’s okay to highlight the amount of propaganda/recruitment for the right George Washington’s myth, but want to talk down to the people who are still affected by racist/murderers that are recruited. Is Garret so blind/insulated that they can’t see, even 30+ years later, that the descendants of GW, and his slaver ideologies, are the ones who refuse to move on. GW May have been a founding father, but he was also a brutal slaver, it’s okay to say both.

Absolutely loved this so far! Can’t wait for more! I’m on the edge of my seat wanting to know if Garrett can do an impression of every cast member…and if Kate Mulgrew loves hers as much as I did!

But *Spoiler Alert* 1- They never actually went to the Delta Quadrant. 2- Neither actor has really ever been in space. 3- Voyager...Read full review »
