“have listened to Second Thought for the past two years and was very excited to hear the YouTuber was cohosting a podcast. I love his perspective and appreciate the new direction he has taken the channel. I wanted to hear more of him and his fellow podcasters on this new show.
I knew that the podcast on Clinton’s Master Class was the first episode I wanted to listen to seeing as I’m not her biggest fan. However, I was astounded at the unabashed sexism. They literally complained that Madeleine Albright looked like a “witch,” as if what she was wearing was conducive to any political critique. They criticized Hillary in derogatory sexist terms, and even complained that her response to someone telling her to go back home and iron was lame or boring. Although I’m not a woman, being queer, I have been called many derogatory terms while literally just walking to my office by people driving by. It’s a very victimizing experience that literally shakes me to my core every time. The fact that, according to these individuals, that someone has to have a witty response when bigoted bypassers taunt you by who you are and not simply your work is appalling.
This show could benefit from diversity.”
