A brilliant podcast, an appeasing outcome, sort of. Roberts committed 10 burglaries and was an accessory to the murder of two police officers. If he was unable to tell the difference between right and wrong at the age of 17/18 and was able to commit these acts without giving it a second thought then I am sorry, but I am glad he was put behind bars and kept off our streets. I would have liked to hear him express some remorse/ownership about his behaviour, some gratitude for the lengths people went to (Ron Iddles!!!!) in order to clear his name. Playing the “I was just a kid” card didn’t cut it for me. Hopefully the apprentice can now find another trade and live a long and happy life.
