“I can’t wait for you guys to get into the swing of things, make this more natural. But, you’ve made a great start.
My one suggestion would be to cut the special guests. I get why they’re there and it’s always wonderful to hear DHH’s views... but there are other, more stable podcasts already doing that.
I’d love it if you switched it up to just rant content, that’s the stuff you have that’s unique and have tonnes of. Make the whole podcast popular rants, get the authors involved and get them to expand beyond their 5k characters of awesomeness. Add in a random rant, so it’s not just popular gear but average ranking nonsense too.
That would be unique. I’m not here to hear how to work well, or learn from the greats.

If you do keep the guests, format it differently: ask the wk questions, the most popular, I’d have loved to hear you ask DHH what his worst day at work was, or the worst piece of advice he’s had was. Do that, do that up front, that’s what you guys do well... get people ranting!”
