“It's a good podcast with some good information. You have to listen through side conversations and irrelevant discussions, as well as way too many self-promos of upcoming events, to get to the meat. Also, Juan needs to be more consistent in his speaking--he lets his voice drop to inaudible levels many times, so you can't hear what he's saying. The podcast used to have significant audio problems, but Juan's speaking level is the last remaining audio issue on the recorded events, I think. Juan, learn to project *consistently*! You let your voice fall off quite frequently.
The live podcasts are still quite painful to listen to, with respect to audio levels. They are full of useful information, but I'm constantly adjusting the volume. Which is quite distracting while listening to the recorded podcast when driving. They really need a mixer and somebody dedicated to monitoring the mixer, during the live podcasts. Or do some tests before starting the live podcasts, to level the volumes across the different feeds.
I think these guys would really benefit from actually listening to their podcasts in, say, a moving vehicle. If they make the podcast sound good in a moving vehicle, then it will definitely sound good through a computer's speakers (assuming the computer has decent speakers...)”
