Time traveller
Dear Rob and Dave, About 5 ish years ago, Cameron Reilly was introducing Ray Harris Jnr to the magic of Doctor Who and mentioned your podcast. I downloaded it and have had it in my list since. However, because I have many podcasts in my list, the rotation takes me about 18 months to get through. I have just spent 2 weeks, 2 hours a day in your company. I travelled backwards in time to a land before COVID-19, when Dave could casually mention travelling to the US as though that is a thing. I travelled the podcast timeline through lockdowns and personal losses, through Big Finish and New Adventures. I have arrived at the end just before the best of the 1980s, the era when my brother and I videoed every daily episode so we could watch them all on Friday afternoon using a technique the kiddies now call binge watching. I met Davo in Myer, Brisbane and he signed a randomly selected Doctor Who Target novel. He was the incumbent at the time and wearing the costume. I am sure the 80s adventures will be excellent. I guess I will hear about them in 18 months! Catherine Cheek

Loving this podcast. Like the best criticism it manages to be as entertaining as the show it’s discussing - and sometimes (when it comes to the JNT era) considerably more so. It has also opened my eyes to the pleasures of the Hartnell era. Long may it continue.

There’s Rob with his voice as rich as...Read full review »
