If I could turn back time
Where was this podcast when I was a conscientious but exhausted resident who harbored a deep dark shamefuly secret—that I kind of hated practicing medicine? Hearing stories of colleagues who know firsthand what it is to be a physician—the exquisite highs and lows—and who have had the same conflicts as I is extremely therapeutic and even inspiring. It normalizes our feelings of burnout about clinical medicine and attenuates the guilt and doubt. Keep fighting the good fight Heather—you’re helping us all!
