Like the content but not the dismissiveness
I’ve been listening for a few months now and have been enjoying the content and learning. What I’ve noticed recently is Dr. Mark’s dismissiveness to things he disagrees with. That really came through in the dairy episode but I’ve heard it in some other episodes too. It is clear Mark doesn’t like dairy and even when his guest was tempering that with the realism of what people are doing and the fact that milk does have a decent nutritional profile. Mark did not offer up any suggestions for those of us who do get protein from dairy as to other similar options that might work. He was just so dismissive and most of us on our own health journeys can’t just switch overnight. It doesn’t help to make your listener feel stupid. That has never motivated anybody.

I am loving this podcast! I really like how each episode challenges my perspective of food and the environment. Thinking about topics in new ways has been fascinating. Thank you!
