“Great chat, very enjoyable. Doddie is a rugby hero of mine and I had the pleasure of seeing him play many times for club and country (Well, mainly a pleasure). I now support my wife with her auto-immune disease, whilst not MND. It’s also life changing. Listening to this podcast and other ‘Doddie media’ over the past three years has helped us as we share many frustrations of, as yet, incurable diseases and we can certainly sympathise with the lack of information and medical communication. We too live day to day, your spirit big man is a comfort. I wish 20 years on, my admiration for you hadn’t grown because of where we find ourselves in life. But it has, your spirit in the face of your challenges is refreshing (and so helpful!). Next pint is on me!”
