A challenging listen
A bit hard to listen to The Challenge coverage when Matt and Scally stan someone. They become immune from any sort of game criticism or analysis and everything they do is a great move and any sort of pounding the table by the vets is proof that the people Matt and Scally don’t like are terrible people. You’d think that being Big Brother and Survivor fans, Matt and Scally would be inoculated to this as a gameplay tactic. Jeremy used it on Kimmi in S31, as a human reaction that was also gameplay. Tyson had a similar reaction in BvW. Boston Rob’s whole game is centered around this. But when these vets pound the table, it’s suddenly “bullying” and “intimidation tactics”? It’s a strategy that has been used from the beginning of the show and only seems to be an issue since it started targeting their favs.

This is THE best Survivor history/strategy podcast hosted by a Mainer and Brit. As far as I know. Come for the in-depth retrospectives, stay for the strategy. Then again, if you’re a casual fan who just wants to hear people praise Rupert, maybe it’s better to stick to making comments on...Read full review »
