Drew is the BEST explainer
I love this podcast. Drew is an amazing communicator—he has a way of explaining jiujitsu concepts in a very clear way that makes everything easy to visualize, which is incredibly impressive given that this is a podcast and jiujitsu is a very visual and physical art form. While he has several years of experience on the mats, and is an amazing jiujitsu historian, Drew is incredibly humble and doenst speak in a way that would isolate beginners to the grappling game, which I really appreciate. Finally, I love how Drew often links videos to his podcasts that exemplify the concepts he’s discussing in the episodes—it gives you a way to really see what he’s describing, though he explains things so well, you aren’t surprised when you watch the videos he links! I *highly* recommend listening to Drew’s deep dive on the North South Choke, and his episode devoted to the Guillotine Choke—he’s clearly an expert on these techniques, and the Guillotine episodes is one of my fave jiujitsu podcast episodes EVER! So glad The Darce Knight finally has such an amazing platform—please keep the content coming Drew! 💙

Great podcast, ive thought for a while it would be great to have an analytical bjj podcast. Similar to the 100s of mma breakdown podcasts. Sound quality is a little patchy but it will improve over time im sure.
