Great Source for New DMs
This review is going to be sort of long being that I’m writing it while listening so sorry for that in advanced. I’m new to DMing and really Dungeons and Dragons in general, but a few friends have been asking me to DM a game. I had no idea where to start outside buying the starter set so I decided to look up some podcasts to see if any could help. This is the first DM specific podcast I started listening to and I love it! I have ideas as to where to start, tools to help me create and organize, and just some great tips that will help me DM. I have some friends half a country away who want me to DM a game for them and I had no idea how I would do that but the info in episode 5 definitely helped me piece that together. My husband also wants to start a one-on-one game so I found the episode on that super helpful as well. I am going to be running a less detailed campaign though since I am just starting out so some of the later podcasts I didn’t use much info from but I know in the future they will be a great resource when I get more comfortable DMing and want to add more detail and make the campaigns more realistic. Overall I definitely would recommend this podcast to anyone who is interested in DMing or would like some tips on becoming a better DM. I can’t wait to start my first campaign now and I’m excited to see where it goes! Thanks for all your help through this podcast!

I absolutely never...Read full review »
