“I have just started playing DnD for the first time with some old school friends and am finding this podcast very helpful and fun.
Although I have read some of the DnD based books in the past (R.A. Salvatore series), my wife who has never been very interested in this kind of fantasy setting is having a great time and this is a quick and easy alternative to learn with instead of spending hours in the player handbook.
Would be awesome if you guys could do a Gameplay episode to explain how the game works easily eg. when which die are used when, more about the different types of stats, the order of events in combat, exploring and so on. Like a part 2 to the Pillars episode.
