Leaha is courageous urging each of us to find the source of wellness and wellbeing which is found within. Over 20 years ago she lost over 100 pounds and has kept if off and in-spite of being diagnosed with an incurable, chronic, terminal, neurological disease (Huntington's) that affects the brain and progressively shuts down the mind and body she remains symptom free. Leaha is dedicated to both her own wellness and to fully promoting that - no matter what. She believes that we each have moments every single day to practice gratitude and most importantly compassion which leads to happiness within ourselves, love in our families and ultimately a harmonious workplace and world. In her first book Silver Linings: The Essential Guide to Building Courage, Self-Respect and Wellness, Leaha shared how the inheritance of the gene for Huntington's disease--an incurable genetic illness that attacks the mind and body--inspired her to change her life for the better.
