Behind the Scenes with Genesis’88 | Acid House 1988 --------------------------------------------------- Genesis’88 established their name as top flight promoters in the warehouse on Leaside Road, Hackney. They transformed a large dirty illegal warehouse into a winter wonderland. Staging three events over the Christmas period and then a News Years Eve party with the legendary Sunrise. The Genesis’88 partners spent many days decorating the building in preparation of four historic events. It was rented to them by a landlord whom actually turned out to be a squatter.
