Behind the Scenes with Genesis’88 | Acid House 1989 --------------------------------------------------- Genesis’88 staged three illegal parties in Ferry Lane, North London. The first epic party was on the 11th February 1989 and the last a few weeks later. Numerous waypoints worthy of note have been documented including fronting two police captains, standing up against two police riot squads, and staring down the barrel of a robbers gun. This is also the night their full security team demanded a cut of profits from then onwards otherwise they’d take the nights takings and leave. Thousands of people attended the events, many later commented on how their lives are transformed by Genesis’88 events.
