Rev. Edwina Elder - A.K.A. Grandma Elder
Listen now
Description
On August 24, 1920, into the world was born a little girl named Edwina Marie Elder, who would become a teacher to many leaders in the Apostolic movement around the world. She grew into a fearless and faithful lady of God who was not afraid to serve God and surrender her life completely to His service. Her journey was not always easy, but she remained faithful through incredible hardship and was mightily used of God during her 92 years of life. She served two missions overseas and would have died oversees if the Lord would've allowed it. However, God still had a work for her to do of teaching single mothers in America, during her elderly years. She was a Children's Pastor, an Evangelist, a Missionary, a Teacher, a School Principal, a Preacher of the Gospel, and a Bible Study Teacher. The legacy of ministry in the Elder family began with Great Aunt Grace Carlson, and with Edwina. This...is the story of Edwina's life in ministry.
