Please stop interrupting the guests.
I really want to like this podcast. The subject matter and the guests are often really interesting. But the hosting is incredibly lacklustre. I’ve listened to a few episodes now and I find the hosts unwilling to let the guests talk and simply talk over the top of them. Frequently, they’ll ask a question and won’t let the guest answer in full and simply ask another question mid way through their guests responses. The Steve Keen episode was particularly aggravating, but I’ve found this trend in a number of episodes (e.g the Cameron Murray one). The male host is particularly at fault here, while I find Veronica a bit more willing to let the interview breathe. I realise that you’re going to have guests who fundamentally dislike property for whatever reason (e.g Steve Keen) but please stop interrupting them - it’s very annoying to the listener and makes for a poor audio experience. Wait til they finish their answer and then respond - just quite talking over the top of them.

I hope that Propertology is put through a similar pressure test of their claims, where generalisations and well...Read full review »
