Contest of Wills
Contest of Wills, a loving providence. First let me say this, since 1987 when I first red Through Gates of Splendor, I have thought of Elisabeth with high admiration, and amazed at her and first husband Jim’s devotion to Christ. Their example of laying one’s life down was lived out practically for all Christian’s to have an example to follow. I have really enjoyed the podcast series. I play an episode or 2 as I walk in the morning. I could be found laughing or maybe have a stern face trying to understand something I haven’t heard before but want to understand more. Lord knows what people think when I pass by them as I walk. Which leads me to a question. I was a little surprised at Elisabeth’s mention of Katherine Kuhlman in somewhat favorable terms. I was wondering if you could enlighten me on why she thought that way about Katherine, who in my mind and all that I have read, was more like a false teacher. I mean no disrespect at all. I will continue to hold Elisabeth with loving respect and will continue to listen to podcast. Thank you! Steve
