Life Changing
For decades I struggled with change and almost got to the conclusion that the Christian life and the teachings of Jesus are for the A students. Pete made me love Jesus Christ and the Christian faith all over again and now I believe that the Christian life is so much more meaningful and enjoyable for those who don’t feel they measure up. Thanks to Emotionally Healthy Spirituality teachings, I can now read the Bible very differently and see God’s word very personal too. Over the past two and a half years my mind, as the apostle Paul calls it, was transformed and this reflected on my mental health greatly. My body though, still has a long way to go but I am on the right path at least. These teachings give theology and biblical basis for pain, suffering, hardships, sadness, loss and all the confusing things of human life. I made sense of things in my life and learned why I couldn’t change before and was finally able to move forward. Throughout the pandemic I would not miss to listen to at least one podcast a week. It just reminded me constantly that God is for the here and now. It turned out that spirituality is reality and I did not know it throughout my 20 year walk with Jesus. To me during this period of time, Pete seemed to be the only preacher or teacher who knew what he was doing and where he was going. like a torchlight in a long dark tunnel, these podcasts were and still to my life. Praise God! Thank you Pete and EHS team, God bless you.

It’s not about success or church growth or methods and celebrity - this is the honest stuff of faithfulness and Godly wisdom. Christian leader, you...Read full review »
