“As a Southern union organizer and lifelong sports fan, particularly college basketball (Go Duke, sorry), this is a thoughtful and accessible show for sports fan lefties to 1) show our comrades on the left that sports matter to our struggles, and 2) show our sports fan friends the nuances of how sports are a site of labor and exploitation. Plus the fact that the hosts and guests are athletes and/or fans themselves helps lighten it up.
