We continue to the next song in sequence from this remarkable work in the full-arc of Marvin Gaye's career. Remarkable, due to the degree to which Marvin may have seemed to be drowning from the status of most all facets of his life at this time.  And yet, I continue to share how I feel this to be his most spiritual work. The most spiritual, because when you consider the degree to which Marvin was blessed with a gift from God, it was exactly that gift that in the thick of the tribulations of his life he was able to choose to rely upon, and draw from, to put himself into the midst of. Marvin Gaye did all of this, obviously for his own coping mechanism; yet as he shares with us, he's really thinking about trying to share good guidance with us, and spare us from that which he is going thru.
