Description
Sally Orange is a physiotherapist, veteran, charity fundraiser, endurance runner, Invictus game medallist, inspirational speaker, ambassador for the Army CadetsĀ  and mental health advocate. She holds multiple world records including being the only person to complete a marathon on every continent dressed as a piece of fruit! Having faced her own challenges with severe depression and chronic anxiety, Sally speaks openly in an attempt to remove the associated stigma with mental health and encourages others to manage their own mental well being through healthy eating, physical activity and a positive mindset. In this episode, Sally shares what motivated her to take up endurance events, the challenges and benefits she has experienced in doing these and her belief that everyone can achieve more than they believe is possible. She highlights how failure can open doors to other possibilities and is candid in speaking about her own mental health struggles and how the challenges she has undertaken have opened up conversations with others around this too.
