When analyzing the effectiveness of a given speaker, we would look for the presence and quality of ethos (credibility), pathos (the emotional appeal), and logos (the logical appeal). The Extra Inch is the best Tottenham pod because Windy, Bardi, and Nathan are each perfectly suited to appeal to a different part of a supporter’s heart and mind. Nathan is the logos. He is a gifted and tireless student of the game who puts in the hours analyzing and has the stats and facts ready to appeal to the logical side of your brain. Bardi is the ethos. A longtime season ticket holder, he has the credibility to represent the fan in the stands and has a good sense of the pulse of the club. And last but not least, Windy is the pathos— the emotional core that drives the pod, the man who knows best how to talk to our hearts. These are my podcasters— a credit to all of us as Tottenham supporters.”
