Passover and Personal Holiness
Listen now
Description
As our Jewish friends celebrate Passover, we ask: Why did God institute two separate feasts: Passover and the feast of Unleavened Bread? One has to do with initial salvation, and the other has to do with sanctification: holiness, becoming like God. “Be holy, as I am holy”, says the Lord in the Old Covenant. Jesus says, “Be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect” in the New.
