Description
Brian Cade (current editor of 'Context' family therapy magazine and pioneer in systemic therapy) has a conversation about his work with Mr Jeff Faris of the Family Institute. This took place in the context of a workshop entitled 'Pragmatics Rehabilitated: Unpredictability and Humour in Therapy', which was presented by The Family Institute in the Faculty of Health Sport and Science in June 2012. This video provides an interesting introduction to any students of counselling, psychotherapy, psychology or social work, also teachers, health professionals etc. in exploring how unpredictability and humour can be utilized in communication in therapeutically oriented meetings or sessions, this is a playful and intimate look at the field of family therapy.
