Angela Christian-Wilkes and Gaby discuss the intersections between her ethnographic research on Argentinean women's football, her role with the World Players Association, and her own experiences as an elite footballer.  FOTP Gaby Garton may already be a familiar name to listeners, having previously played for Melbourne Victory in the Dub. Her footballing career as a goalkeeper spanned domestic leagues in Australia, Argentina and the US, and she represented Argentina at international level. Gaby's completed a PhD in Social Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires.
