Congratulations
Congratulations on co-hosting with NZ the best World Cup ever in your beautiful countries. Enjoy the Matildas triumphs; winning is amazing and terrifying. The anxiety doesn’t stop just because your team defeats each comer. And the anxiety doesn’t stop because we all believe. The only time I actually knew in 2019 was in the Final because we had already feared and celebrated and feared the most difficult matches, playing (not always at our best) and defeating (OMG) Spain, (the hosts) France and (the rivals) England to get to the Final. The Final was painful, so painful, and then miraculous! Everyone loves the Matildas. Enjoy the love, too. I love the Matildas and not only because my teams are Chelsea, San Diego, and Gotham. No. There is something deeply satisfying about watching this Australian team win and not only because it is so gay. The Matildas have heart and soul and belief and the whole world is rooting for them to win the 2023 World Cup at home ⚽️ Really! You must know that the Far Post is the very best soccer podcast. Midge 91 and Tobin & Christen are giving you guys a run, but I do love listening to the four football ⚽️ Aussies podcast best. You’re great. Go Matilidas! ⚽️

Love this. Fills a gap in Australian podcasts to exclusively cover women’s football, with great insights from the hosts. Looking forward to the future episodes. P.S. COYG!

This is the poddy that women’s soccer was yearning for in Australia! The hosts are super well informed and bring critical analysis to the topic while being fun and easy to listen to. You love to see it!

I look forward to each episode coming out to catch up on the football I haven’t watched or hear other perspectives!
