Great topics, good production
Overall, I would give the podcast four out of five stars. I did like the topic choices and I could really tell that Laura had done her research and knew what she was talking about. I did enjoy the setup of the podcast, where she talks and then inserts interview clips especially for the episode “Unsimply Soba.” There were a number of guests and I found that just inserting clips made it easier for transition, but I do think for “Hard Nog and Hardy Oranges” that because it only had one guest, Micah LeMon, that I would have liked to have heard an interaction between the two of them. He seemed like a very fun character and I think listening to them talking together would have added to the overall show. Her production values were entertaining, but I could see them treading corny territory, especially when she inserted a record scratch.
