Ilsa Wakeling was a part of the Australian softball squad in the early to mid 2000s, and played in the Italian professional league, before making an incredible return to the side in her 40s after giving birth to son Hunter. She has transferred her elite mindset into the workplace, working with Victoria Police since 2006, currently an acting superintendent before returning to the critical incident response team as an inspector.
