“I tripped into FDS a few months ago and really enjoyed it at first. So I decided to listen to every episode starting with the first. I really want to like and support this project but their commitment to biological determinism is deeply unsettling and problematic.
But they lost me with their episode on why they’re leaving Reddit (totally support because that hellsite is horrific). To put it bluntly, the trans misogyny horrified me. I noticed it again with some of their most recent episodes. As someone who believes in liberation for ALL people including trans folk, I can’t support this project anymore. Very much a ‘don’t throw the baby out with the bath water’ type situation- which, it is hard not to be reactive- considering the bath water is FILTHY. Super disappointed.”
