“This show may not appeal to you. The hosts are great, but their vibe may not totally mesh with everyone. It’s worth it if you stick with them. Very knowledgeable. Very funny. Very kind. Even when they don’t like the movies, you can see it’s not something they enjoy trashing on. Henry hosts the show; he’s generally pretty fun and relatable. I sometimes find him slightly too boyish in nature — sometimes that’s really really hilarious, other times a little much. He will miss things from time to time, and to repeat, it can work and not work for me. Chloe is very high energy. I really like her perspectives and opinions on films and other things they discuss. They cover many topics. She’s extremely intelligent and well-intentioned. I feel like Henry’s reviews occasionally get shortened or dismissed because it doesn’t agree with her view of the film. Not always the other way around. Like it has to be a one-up or something. I don’t know if that observation is one that I get being distant from them, so I don’t pick up on the “vibe of the room.” Not sure. I like them both a lot though. I like Film Buds, I like Music Buds, and I’m sure I will for a long long time. If you stick with them, they will stick with you.”
