“Found these guys a while back while searching for a good discussion on the Alien franchise. I recently saw the new trailer for Alien: Romulus and immediately wished I could ask Chris and Robert how they felt about it. So, I figured it was time for a review. This is by far the highest quality horror movie podcast I have come across. Chris and Robert are two of the most hilarious and insightful hosts I have listened to. They helped reinvigorate my love for the genre and have introduced me to new terms that help me better understand why I fell in love with horror in the first place. Terms like the horror ghetto, gateway horror, horror adjacency etc.
In addition to all the great horror discussion, these two take a lot of time to listen and connect with their community. Chris and Robert have done a great job building an awesome community of people who genuinely have insightful, and sometimes hilarious, things to say.
All in all, The Film Flamers are a great choice if you’re looking for any of the things mentioned above. You will not be disappointed.”
