His debut feature Calladita is the first European film ever funded by NFTs after a successful crowdfund led by Faus himself. It's based on his 2020 short film of the same title, which screened at many international festivals and was acquired by HBO. His previous short, The Death of Don Quixote, won the Melies d’Argent for Best European Short Film in Sitges 2018. In 2021, Variety named Faus one of ten "Spanish filmmakers to watch".
