“I'm new to listening to podcasts. I've been listening to some of Kevin Smith's podcasts and decided to look for DC Comics podcasts. I stumbled across the WONDERFUL Fire and Water Podcast. I'm certainly glad I did. I started at the begining and am currently at episode 19 (the fantastic Conway interview). God, I'm loving hearing Conway talk about his past.
I don't have the dislike or lack of respect that I normally hear for Aquaman,but he's not one of my favorite heroes. Who is, you may ask? My favorite two heros are The Atom (Ray Palmer) and of coure FIRESTORM The Nuclear Man.
Even though Aquaman isn't one of my favorite heroes (as I said previously), I do enjoy the LOVE I hear in Robb's voice. You can tell that Robb loves Aquaman (though why he likes Aquaman more than Firestorm, I'll never know). And that love comes through when he's dicussing anything to do with the aquatic hero.
But back to the real star of the show, thank you Shaggg (yes, I added an extra G on to your name, just for the hell of it). I love hearing your comments on our favorite flame head.
Also, much like you (I'm sure), I'm deeply saddened by DCs lame decision to cancel the best comic book on the market.
I also love the banter between Shaggg and Robb. Not sure how long they've been "friends", but it sounds like they have been friends for years upon years.
I listen to your wonderful podcast while I'm working (at the IRS) and it helps make the hours melt away.
Also I find funny in retrospect I'm listening to Shaggg talk about his like for Vibe and that he'll never show back up, knowing that as I type this, 6 issues of his new title are out, plus he's in the JL of A (though who knows for how long).
Anyways... I'll check back in when I'm further along.
And since Vibe has his own series, I'm definetly awaiting for Slipknots new book. Maybe Jason's dad can make an apperance as his right hand man.... LOL
Anyway, keep up the excellent work Shaggg and keep the hope alive Robb.
