Volunteering to work with NASA on their short-haul fatigue research study for pilots was a great experience. Flying my first redeye was also quite interesting. On this episode I share what I can about the NASA AMES research study and method that I used to prepare and fly this redeye. Incorporating exercise, nutrition, energy management, and working around circadian rhythm all play a major role on how you'll feel and your performance. Keep in mind that this method DOES NOT work for everyone, but it's always good to try something different if what you're doing currently doesn't work for you. Enjoy!
