Listen now
Description
This week are joined by the incredibly talented Michael Bronner who has worked on some terrific films both as a screenwriter and a producer. His debut film was 'United 93' in which he worked closely with Paul Greengrass as a producer. The film was made as a result of the 9/11 attack on the world trade centre. Michael's most recent film 'The Mauritanian' starring Tahar Rahim, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jodie Foster, covers the story of Mohamedou Salahi who was wrongly detained in Guantanamo Bay following the attack of 9/11.  We cover a wide variety of topics in this discussion from the importance of trust in filmmaking and storytelling, the lies that the US government cover up about Guantanamo Bay. As well as understanding the different perspectives when it comes to 9/11 and global terrorism. We really enjoyed this discussion and hope you guys do too, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the episode. 🎧 Full episode available to listen & download now:         https://www.theflickerspodcast.com/  Support our podcast and join our Patreon by hitting the link below:  https://www.patreon.com/TheFlickers 📸 INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/flickerspodcast/ 🐦 TWITTER: https://twitter.com/flickerspodcast?lang=en Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/TheFlickersPodcast/ To sign up to Buzzsprout and receive a $20 gift card click the link below: https://www.buzzsprout.com/?referrer_id=1744007 Music By David Cutter Music: https://www.davidcuttermusic.co.uk Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/TheFlickers)
