Lost Interest
As a MTG boomer of sorts (played in a Mirage prerelease) I liked these guys perspective. I relate a lot to their non-magic talk and really agree with their opinions and thoughts. But I’ve never been interested in competitive magic and when life got busy I moved on from paper magic about 5 years ago and gravitated towards MTG Arena instead to scratch that itch. I was drawn to this podcast as it was focused on Arena at first so it was relevant to my interests. But lately with paper magic returning with competitive events this podcast has shifted to that scene and those formats that I gave up a long time ago. I also think these guys focus too much on the online discourse and have turned their noses up to the Arena only formats like historic which makes them come off as elitist snobs which was why I was turned off from paper magic in the first place. TL/DR: this podcast isn’t about MtG Arena anymore.
